- Position Your Hand: Bring your fingers close together and tuck your thumb toward your palm, as if you’re about to put on a bangle.
- Measure Around the Widest Point: Using a flexible measuring tape or a strip of paper, wrap it around the widest part of your hand (around the knuckles).
- Mark and Note the Measurement: Mark where the tape or paper meets and measure its length. Compare this measurement with the size chart or use it to gauge if your hand can pass through certain bangle sizes.

- Wrap the Tape Measure: Place the measuring tape around your wrist bone. Make sure it’s neither too tight nor too loose.
- Mark the Overlap: Mark where the tape measure overlaps. This indicates your wrist’s exact circumference.
- Compare with Size Chart: Use the table below to determine your likely bangle size range based on wrist measurement.

- Lay Bangle on a Flat Surface: Place your existing bangle on a flat surface.
- Use a Straight Ruler: Align the ruler across the center of the bangle—from one inner edge straight across to the opposite inner edge.
- Note the Internal Diameter: Record the diameter in inches or millimeters. Match this diameter with the size chart below to find the best fit for your next bangle.
Wrist Measure Range | Bangle Circumference | Bangle Diameter (Approx.) |
---|---|---|
5 - 5.5" (13 - 14 cm) | 5.7 - 6.1" (14.5 - 15.5 cm) | 1.8 - 2" (48 - 51 mm) |
5.5 - 7" (14 - 17.7 cm) | 6.5 - 6.9" (16.5 - 17.5 cm) | 2.13 - 2.25" (54 - 57 mm) |
7 - 8" (17.7 - 20.3 cm) | 7.2 - 7.7" (18.5 - 19.5 cm) | 2.38 - 2.50" (60 - 64 mm) |
8.5 - 9" (21.5 - 22.6 cm) | 8.2" (20.9 cm) | 2.63" (67 mm) |
- If you’re between sizes, consider how you like to wear your bangles. You may prefer a slightly looser fit for comfort or a snug fit to minimize movement.
- Measure more than once for accuracy. Small variations can affect your final measurement.
- When in doubt, choose the larger size to ensure the bangle can pass over your hand comfortably.
